Hi Andy - just wondering if I should have had the Brunty ticket yet? I'll be taking my wife and 2 teenagers. Is it ticket per car or individuals?
thanks

If you are all in the same car and going on track you will just need the track pass...If more than one car then I need to send you a pass just to get in.....Have I sent you the exhibitors pass which is the one you need to go onto track.

Having just checked the website, I realise I've been labouring under a delusion for about a year now. Can't make it!
:0036::0036::0036:

At least Mrs Catman has offered to tell the minor one :(

Hi - just one car, and I haven't had either pass. No rush, just catching up with stuff before I go on holiday next week.

Booked the hotel. Got a family room with 3 beds plus breakfast for 4 for £79. Bargain! I've also asked about reserved parking for the Maseratis like last year - do we know how many cars we'll have that night?

Hi Everyone
its just around the corner now , I hope you all have full gate's because it looks like its going to be a great show and we will have a lot of people in the queue's
below is the gate numbers for this year , remember we supply the gazebo, table and two chairs, we are being closely watched by Harborough & district council this year , so team leaders keep an eye on your team , and make them aware ,
Pat will be doing what Pat does best with Steve and will start the briefing at 08.30 . So I am not worried . There is just a chance that BBC east midlands today might be at the show , we are waiting for them to make up there minds , and the BBC Stig has confirmed he will be at the show as well , we will also have some surprise aircraft displays now confirmed , and one we are waiting to be confirmed from Norway ,

Gate 1 AC Cobra
Gate 2 Lotus
Gate 3 Subaru
Gate 4 Vauxhall VX220
Gate 5 Auto Adrenalin
Gate 6 GTROC
Gate 7 Maserati
Gate 8 TVR
Gate 9 Help for hero's
Gate 10 Sporting bears
Gate 11 midshires
Gate 12 GTM

Regards
john & chris

Hi - really looking forward to this but I've got a couple of questions.
1. Do we have to be at Brunty ready for the briefing at 0830? If so that means me and the family will have to stay in hotel on the Friday night, so which is the hotel referred to in the thread? I can see the booking code etc but not its name or where it is.
2. I am planning on taking the wife and kids (18 yr old girl and 16 yr old boy), but slightly worried that they will get bored and therefore spoil the day for me. Would it realistically be better if I came by myself if this is really a lads thing? Anyone else bringing family?
3. How many laps might I be doing and am I free to wander off and see some of the other stuff going on or am I committed to constant lapping?
4. What time does it all end?
5. How much stuff should I bring for the charity collection?

Sorry about all the Qs!

As I non-participant this year, and loving it last year:

1) I would. Can't recall the name of the hotel, but someone will be along.
2) All the fun of the fair. Literally. Plus forklifts, fast cars and articulated lorries. There's loads to do
3) Last year we had to pull cars off the laps as we couldn't get them all on the gate. Not sure how busy it'll be this year, but I got plenty time to walk around and see the shiny things
4) Can't recall 1700 ish rings a bell
5) Collection or auction? Last year I gave my nephew some money to go round the other gates and get scared, and we all tipped in at the end for the 'private' rides in each others cars. I guess I spent £100 all in. Plus fuel plus tyre, brake and nervous wear :)

Worth every penny, but it's not exactly forced on you to spend. :)
