Only managed one video and no photos this year; it is of Mark launching at the start with wheel spin for sure... I can't see the images at the moment on YouTube but I hope that is just local to me!

If you can't see it, Mark is the secone car to take off and you hear the revs fluctuating in 1st as the tyres are slipping...

Bit late popping on your forum this year. That is me in the old GTR behind Mark. Side by side with Mark down the straight (as I did not have enough top end to go past, your torque much better than mine!).
Pleasure to be in the next gate to you lot and good to chat to some of you on the day.
see you all next year.

Good to meet you properly this year, Dave! I was very surprised you didn't go past me on the straight as all of the GTRs were flying all day. There was a new shape (sorry, don't know the model) light blue car that was immensely quick. Great to all be friends this year and raise a lot of money together whilst having fun. See you again next year.

Had the bill from Shiltech for returning car to peak condition after Brunty. Total cost of providing grins to passengers was a stunning £330, and to be fair, I think I'd used most of that money just driving the car through the year.

I make the adjusted cost about £100, plus £110 fuel. So, in other words the wear on the car was less than a tank of fuel - insignificant against the fun we all had. :)

Hope that encourages more people to sign up for next year...

Sorry Greg!

In fairness, your car didn't wear out, just decided to unbolt itself ;)

lol.........true, would be a real worry if it only took a handful of laps to wear a car out:saifi3: all sorted now and she will go in for a health check before next year's brunty just to be sure:blushed:

Front brake pads and 4 litres of boiled brake fluid, Chris. Includes the labour charge... EBC pads have gone on, to match the rears.

Brake line clips = free (clip back into place)
Exhaust brackets = going anyway
Pads all round = needed for Italy anyway
Brake fluid = changed beforehand
Handbrake de-lamination = inevitable its a Maserati
Stone chips = not bothered given the badges of honour it already wears :)
6mpg = priceless given the grin factor for driver and passengers especially the wish ones at lunchtime....

Oh dear....Wonder how much that was down to providing a grin on my face Drew....

Take a look at your boys wearing the Maserati caps, and then you'll know the answer. Perpetual grins are beyond money, mate.

Lol you've just jinxed it now Greg, to be fair I've had my fair sure of woes and am hoping that I have put all that behind me now. It is running well over 400bhp now and certainly feels like it. I am going to organise another Rolling road session soon and extend it to forum members.

Not driving hard enough if it cost £100!!! I'm in next year for sure :D

Heheheheh... I think between me and Andy it was driven plenty hard enough! I know I had it braking on the limit, and I don't expect Andy to comment!
