If our gate isn't at the end like last year then I think we'll be even busier. There should be enough Maseratis to ensure nobody is out more than they want to be. The GTSs were very popular again last year and we had 4, so any more will be welcome to share the load!

Sensible call by Adrian...I'm thinking of having the nose wrapped in clear film this time, try to avoid some of the chips and scratches from last time - the front can get pepperd!

Three laps and in sounds sensible. I don't think it'd have too much impact on overall revenue as we tended to have quite a lot of cars idling in any event, and not enough badges for all drivers

Exactly - there's no reason any one car needs to be out for more than 3 laps before a cooling period. We constantly had a full set of badges out on track, and drivers waiting to go.

Yeah, the impact on income thing was only if they had decided to do that as a standard thing, one person doing it would be minimal...if at all.

The only issue of anyone being out more often was the unique or more popular cars. Enzo's 550, Adrian's C63 and the GTSs were in constant demand and people were queueing for them. 4 GTSs seemed to cope OK, but Enzo and Adrian worked like troopers to satisfy demand and maximise income from our gate.

Not sure if I'm still banned.

Regardless, if I can join I will. Like Emtee I have some concerns regarding that back corner at the end of the straight. It could all go so wrong there). I'd like them to sweep the track clean first this time, too.

Is that where you went straight on? Next time, pull the right hand side of your steering wheel down and push the left side up and if you can synchronise it with the corner, you may even stay on the Tarmac. Having said that, it's always good having someone to laugh at; it raises morale and shows we are having a good time. :)

I'm afraid it's too late for that, he's been marked for life; an irremovable stain on his battered reputation! :)

He was tempted to write a cheque this year! 4 new tyres, new discs and pads all round, not cheap! However, he said he was grinning for a week afterwards so can't wait to do it again. This year will be 3 laps at a time before coming in to cool down.

As we have a gate further up the field I think it will be a good idea to do three or four as then someone else will get a chance to come on track as we will be more limited to the amount of cars on the gate...Like the others last year...

A pair of 'BRAKE' point boards set up would help some I'm sure, the difficulty is the straight is just so wide you can easily have 4 or 5 abreast jostling for space and entering from all sorts of angles and speeds.

I know it comes across as trifling Andy, and chances are 9 times out of 10 all with be fine, but on that tenth time I don't mind pranging my car, I don't mind pranging myself, but I couldn't live with pranging some stranger's 9 year old daughter after they have been entrusted to my safety on not much more than a hand-shake.

A way to funnel into the corner, but not so the more "competitive" of the drivers start trying to outbrake each other as the entrance narrows. It's a difficult balance.

I think a stricter adherence and making more of the drivers briefing that overtaking is strictly to the left on the straight so the slower cars know to move right; this puts the slower cars entering the corner at the tighter angle and more likely to hug the inner set of cones leaving the faster cars to (Adam) chose their own entry point

That would certainly help an novice like me. The other thing is that I could not, for the life of me, actually *see* where the corner was, even with the cones.
