Neither of ours have an aerial on the wing, they are both internal to one, or other of the screens, which personally I think keeps the lines nice and smooth.

I think the early cars had the aerials and later ones didn't....It may even be 2002/03 cars had aeriel then the 2004 model year didn't.

Right then, I wonder why they did that, the 3200 later models didn't have a stick aerial, so why would they suddenly decide to stick one one the 4200, strange..??

I think the aerial is also the GSM phone aerial combined for the infotainment centre if the phone option is fitted.
For the later 03 onwards you then get the internal aerial for the radio, and then a shark fin aerial for the phone, if fitted, instead of the combined 'whip' on the Classico 02 cars.

I wish mine had the phone option, would just love to say "phone me back on the Maserati number!"

You may have lost your connection, see if the plug is still in..??

Indeed. When I noticed it was really bad after fettling / sealing the boot I did check the connection again. It gets considerably worse if I disconnect it. Given that it's virtually unusable, I'm at a bit of a loss.
I don't recall it being that bad before I cleaned it and sealed it up, and I really cannot think of what I cold have done to make it so bad.

Interestingly, though Eurospares shows all three connections being made, but one of the terminals on mine was tied out. Anyone fancy having a look at theirs?

I remember on my old 3200 if I switched the heated rear window on when the radio was on I lost all reception!
