Alfa 147 GTA Nuvola White

Hi everyone,

I know it's not a Maserati, but now I'm getting a 4200, I'm px'ing my Alfa 147 GTA for GT 1.9 diesel to teach my son to drive in.

Just thought I'd mention it to any of you that may know someone that may be interested in a 147 GTA, as it is an extremely exceptional example. With that busso 3.2 V6 4cam, it has the same characteristic instant urgent NA acceleration that your all used to.

It's going to an Alfa specialist dealer in Yate called "St. George", whom we are getting our GT derv from. The guy there, Craig seems really decent and has been straight forward and pleasant to deal with.

The GTA is, apparently one of only 7 "Nuvola" pearlescent white cars imported to the UK (2k euro paint option), and absolutely up together, FASH and just serviced at 53k miles, last serviced last October at 47k, cam belt, brakes, etc all done then. New battery, tyres, MOT and tax. Perfect in and out. It's a 55 reg. Has top spec inc xenos, leather, cruise, bose, etc. Also a Q2 diff and Koni FSD's. Has spent a lot of it's life under a car cover.

Just thought I'd put it out there if it may be of interest to anyone they can contact St. George's

Cheers

Sorry, broadband soooo slooowwww... grrr

Right, you did ask....

Have every receipt for her, from side light bulb up to the major 5 year/70k service when the cambelt, waterpump, idlers and plugs were done at 47k miles by Buzzalfa. They know the car, but as they are moving over to old classics including 50's alfas, (as bussoed GTV's and GTA's are arguably the last properish Alfas... I don't want to start anything there!) they're not in a position to buy it back. Ask Gary from Buzzalfa about it, he knows it and said a while back he would have "bitten my hand off to buy it back". When I told him the px trade price, he said "DON'T let it go for that, you'll get a lot more privately easily". I don't like selling to the public though.

The previous owners took it on the Alfa centenary and described it to me as their "baby". I have emails from them including some nice pics from that. I contacted them before buying to make sure of what I was buying. They moved out to Australia and tried to export the GTA and their little berlinetta, but proved too difficult, so her Father took it to Buzz. He was a hydraulics engineer and used to test the oil at change intervals, I have a copy of the last on pdf he emailed. Pamered by them, pampered by me. Has become a member of our family. People wave you out at junctions and smile at it all the time, much more so than the black one I had from new. (When we had a 1 series M-Sport, people block you out... funny that!) Really pretty in that colour, the same colour that I saw it launched in at Brussels Motor show.

She's nearly 6 years old and fantastic in and out, pulls like a train and no faults. Only 250bhp, but 1360kgs, so no slug ;D

What else other than already mentioned?

Best pm for me a price, as it's going to be px'd next week, and I don't want to upset any one as dealer needs to make a living after all...

Never actually taken any proper pics except with my phone, and they really don't do it justice, but here you go:

PS: Keeping the private (will be 55) and putting it on the 4200, (unless any of you think that a really bad idea as it's not a 3200GTA??)

It is, I believe the same colour as the pic of the Gransport you have on your Avatar, Adam
Would love to have a Gransport in Nuvola white, really shows the lines off

Should get in interior pic, will in a bit. Has heated leather with two settings at the front. jalepino hot, or... off
The rear seats have only one setting
off

Does have plenty of boot space, masses with the seats down. I get 23 mpg btw, so not great, but not bad either I guess.

I do have a wizard unicorse replica recently put on it, which is very Ferrari'esk, proper weak at the knees sound. Though rather loud. That cost a small fortune, so is coming off before px'ing and either the Ragazon/Autodelta (yes Andy you're right about that!) or the original shall go back on.

Here's what it sounds like at the mo: (don't know how to uplosd my own sound clip atm, but can email)

(same cat back sytem, but on a 156 GTA)

If anyone thinks they may want her from me, they'll have to act quick before I px, as I know the mark up will be large, and, well it is completely ready to go and won't cost anything for another year. Except a lot of optimax!

Isn't she. Will miss her pretiness

Hope whoever has her next looks after her correctly. Seems a bit of a wrench to pass her over to a dealer and into the unknown

I'm a sentimental pratt sometimes!
