Finally got around to fitting my Alpine wheels on to the R4 and fitted 155/80/13 instead of the original 135/80/13.
Fitted them in minutes using one tyre lever a good thrash around the lanes and they don't even need balancing View attachment 125103View attachment 125104

Hard to spot wheel vibrations with something that rattles like a couple of marbles in a baked bean can

They look good though , there was a R4 on one of the car rest shows that they fitted these wheels it looked cool too

She can hit 90mph still no problem and being honest no squeaks or rattles I'm pretty certain she's indestructible as I've abused her for 5.5 years and done a trip to the Dump this morning mate.

Totally agree if it had a nice 4 pot petrol motor with a turbo it would sell like hot cakes guaranteed

Media seems to be making out EV aren’t selling…
It isnt true from what I can ascertain. And battery costs for manufacturers look set to drop >40% according to some sources. Cheaper EVs won’t sell- that’d be crazy…!

Just read up on him , what a wonderful colourful chap , has had an awesome adventurous career
