3200 purchased without seeing!

Got the bug for them now. There was a lovely GS sitting next to mine when I picked it up. Always ignored anything that wasn't a 32 (mainly due to ignorance and my love of the looks) but the GS has got my interest for the future.

Anyone had both?

Quite a few on here have (or have had) both. Back in the day, having a 3200 and then a GS was the natural progression, from when the one was stopped and the other introduced.

Both are fun, but I can see why current values show the GS to be (very approximately) twice the price of a similar mileage 3200. It's just that bit more tractable, useable, reliable. But if someone gave me a budget of mid-teens and said go buy a car, I'd come back with a 3200.

Thanks Ewan.

So, the 3200 is a bit more special? I can see why.

Didn't the 'normal' 4200 come between the 3200 and the gransport? With a mid teens budget is a GS even a possibility? Looking on auto trader they are easily 20k +. Have I got my wires crossed?
