What I can't understand is how it had a recent MOT

Either it's a dodgy MOT and the plate is already off but not been removed or it's only been laid up for a few months, there's no rust on the discs at all so it's not been outside

SO much could be hidden on this one...Looks like it could cost a lot to get back on the road..

Very odd this one but I would say £4k tops, you really don't know what you're getting into

You know exactly what you are getting into.
A very expensive proposition with 0 chance of turning any profit.
The only unknown here is how much more will it cost to get to a decent state when compared to a mint.

Well, I hope it makes the best part of eleven grand, because that makes all of ours worth a lot more !! It only takes one or two to achieve ridiculous prices for the market to change

You do realise that purely by having this sort of conversation in a public forum we are suppressing the value of our own cars? we should really all respond being a little more optimistic about what they are worth. Dickie Grace has been selling good 3200's with increasing price tickets quite easily and i seem to remember his last word was that if he get s a good one it sells straight away, did he not sell one last year up around 16k-17k?, they are worth good money!

Good grief, I can't shift my good one for £12k!

Maybe I'll stop washing it for a while...

It's hard privately unless you get lucky where a guy actually offered to buy it at the petrol station. Again amazing what an exhaust mod can do as I had literally a handful of people leave their business cards with me at some of the shows last year saying if I ever decide to sell then call them.

Richard - Tunbridge Wells, or did you mean website? Pistonheads and classiccarsforsale.

Phil, someone actually did offer to by mine at a petrol station a while ago, but I wasn't selling then and didn't get his number.

I understand it to be a very nice car, I enquired about it when you bought it if it's the car I'm thinking of. The problem is that few people will consider a 100,000 mile 3200, no matter how good it is. They will happily pay £12k for an awful car with half the miles though....
