Ridiculously overpriced for the condition.
Barn find and rare for a car that is 17 years old at worst and of which nearly 5000 were built might be pushing a bit

So reading the description, barn find translated to:

Couldn't afford to fix its many faults so parked it up and forgot about it.

Barn find, my @rse!

The list of known issues is impressive.
That's at least 10k worth of parts and body work alone.

Barn now equates to a warehouse...

If they just need space an auction would be the way to go, chancers!

Offer would be £6 or £7k...

Considering what it will cost to put right the body damage plus the list of known issues and the ones bound to appear, no red key, no service history, etc...

Probably worth more for spares than as a running car

£3k? Really? Parts alone would make it worth more. You can get £2k for an engine easily, particularly one this low milage.

David Askew bought one for around 3k a couple of weeks ago, nice car but with some water damage

Strange, top cars go for 25K plus, wares an old banger with no history goes for the price of an nice Fiat Punto!

I thought 5k tops, looked like an AC interior, asked what the wee plaque on the glove box was, but didn't get a reply.
