For somewhere closer and shorter. Go to North Wales over a weekend. I often hit the Evo Triangle and Black Mountain. Lots of fantastic roads up there.

Newton will be taking over the organisation with me. Proposed for mid September 2016, heading straight to Bormio with possible overnight stay enroute. 3 days in Bormio at the same hotel, with different mountain pass routes each day.

Second part will be 2 night at Lake Garda for anyone who wishes to.

Limited places will be offered to Centenary Club members first.

It is a couples trip so bring her Phil or do what I am doing and fly her down for the Lakes bit, she won't say no to that!

Hmmm... when you say mid-Setember, when exactly do you have in mind? I'm at a conference until around 12/13 so getting a pass to continue being away may be a challenge, but let's see. Unlikely that Mrs Crud would come as the youngest will just have started A-levels and the eldest will be heading off to uni. Or maybe I should bring him for a last-blast pre-uni. Could that sell it, I wonder..?

Provisionally assembling 9th September for an early off on the 10th returning on the 18th at this time.

This is about the best week as the schools here and on the continent are back by then and the passes will not be icy. There will likely be plenty of cyclists but we managed to miss them all last time :D

I see this as a less formally organised trip so people can dip in and out as they see fit...

The hotel we had in Bormio last time opened up especially for us and looked after us very well indeed with a superb meal; If we stay for more than the one night there I'm sure they will pull out all the stops and bring the whole spa on-line for us too.

Appreciate that there's many involved here and organising these things is a PITA, but if there's any flex in dates can I put in a request for it to be the week after? I've a board meeting on 13th which is going to be difficult to get out of/rearrange. Sounds like it might be better for Adam as well.
