Dave...easily enough done....believe you me, once you've lost that bit of control at a decent speed who knows where you will end up

I don't think it's a "Joke", looks more like a Mokka to me....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opel_Mokka

Tail lights, boot line, spoiler and wheels all fit.

Seriously though bloody lucky escape, they must have been motoring and hit the sign and speed above the limit for that to happen I would think

Personally I don't think it is a Mokka. The lights on the Mocka extend further down, the rear under tray is different as is the fuel filler cap. The more you look at it, the more differences you can pick out. Whatever it is, it's a POS.

Perhaps not on a motorway.......all it takes is moments inattention, a lack of skill and too much speed........even cold tyres at wrong pressure, all those little bits can add up to a disaster

The problem, is that there are too many tw4ts on the road. Too many people without speed of thought, reactions or common sense is a recipe for the disasters played out every day which we endure in the form of endless traffic jams. At the moment, for example, you can take your test as many times as necessary to pass and, personally, I don't think someone who passes on their tenth attempt will make our roads a safer place especially when the test doesn't include motorway driving.

Insurance folk reckon you can be classed as an experienced driver after 100000 k miles or ten years, which ever is sooner!

I'd like to throw in the standard of training is totally in-sufficient. You can pass your test. 20 years later you've got 400BHP and no one has *ever* corrected the mistakes you learned.

A basic test should be just that, an authorisation to drive a car of up to 1600cc, similar to the bike test system. An intermediate course takes that up to 2500cc and an advanced course beyond that. Most dimwits would be happy with an Aygo or some such town car and only keener and more capable drivers would be capable of attaining something more sporty. Motorway driving would have a dedicated test to assess suitability. Roads would become a lot safer and motorways would be a lot less crowded.
