Modern Classics mag - group test. And the winner is...?

Found a mag called Modern Classics in WHSmiths today and was initially tempted by the article on 205s, but then I saw the group test. This was between a 3200GT, BMW M6, Bentley, Jag XK8 and AM DB7. Have a guess what car they liked best...

Piazza Italia Horsham Supercar Parade - Saturday 26th March

I work in Crawley so very handy for me. If I still have my car by then I'll come along. Antony Palourti Maserati 3200GT 07951 847473 Definitely available if I haven't sold the car and I do have an Alfa 156 if it sells, but not really show-worthy!

3200gt - well known forum car

Beau is right, that door was blown over aftera push bike fell into it, but it is close you can barely tell "in real life", hence I forgot about it. Nevertheless, that photo does highlight it so I will get my bodyshop to have another look. Thanks for pointing this out. Anything else anyone...

3200gt - well known forum car

Update: the car now has a lovely new cambelt and water pump, along with a new oil pressure sender, courtesy of Giallo, so is fully ready to rock. Price is, of course, negotiable, especially to forum members. Cheers, Antony

3200gt - well known forum car

I have a 5 point checklist; Drivers airbag Passenger airbag ABS ESP Euroncap rating of 4 or above that a car has to meet. I spent a very happy lunchtime going through the company car list pointing all the cars they would give me that also didn't meet the criteria, so they just removed those...

3200gt - well known forum car

Hi, somewhat reluctantly I am putting my Maserati 3200gt automatic up for sale. The reason for the sale is the well-documented battle I had with HR at work who have succeeded in taking my car allowance away from me, unless I use it on a car that meets certain safety criteria. Anyway, enough...

Company car allowance problem - the Maser has to go!

Well after much wrangling with the HR dept, and a stay of execution, it has been decided I will lose my car allowance at the end of the year unless I get a car that complies with all their criteria. I thought I had got away with it, but with the oil industry on it's knees, any cost-cutting...

    Quickest route into London

I'd suggest; A1, A406 N circ round to White City, the Bush, Hammersmith, A4 into Kensington etc. The more pertinent question would be what is the best time. However, given that I've recently been stuck in stop-start jams at 1.30am, there is no best time!

    Sorn & winter layup advice

My advice is don't! I used mine all winter with no ABS or ASR. Great aircon keeps the windows clear and the car warm, I just kept it clean and washed the underside regularly. No reason not to.

    Warning!

I had a letter right about time it was in for MOT. It needed a new o/s/f wishbone anyway, as the ball joint had play in it, apparently, so I had it replaced with a used one from a Californian 4200. No cracks were evident in the US arm, however the bushes are still in my old arm, so I can't tell...

Alfa 159 2.4 ti for sale - new price!

Blimey I'd have that like a shot if it turns out I have sell another ex-MAF car. And it wasn't red. I've narrowed my search down to a 2.4 159 if I have to sell the 3200gt and there are a few about, but nothing as good as that, for that price. I'm still hopeful that work will fund the Maserati...
