Found a mag called Modern Classics in WHSmiths today and was initially tempted by the article on 205s, but then I saw the group test.

This was between a 3200GT, BMW M6, Bentley, Jag XK8 and AM DB7.

Have a guess what car they liked best...

Ah but everyone knows they are undrivable and unreliable useless old cars, as peddled by the press for many years.

Yup, they can be undrivable if pushed with only hand on the wheel whilst yawning and yes, they can be unreliable if not maintained properly but I seriously doubt whatever I get next will make me smile so much or so wide so often........definently nothing in my past comes near it.

Owned and driven most of them and they are wildly different cars. Still I'd go for the 3200 every time and the M6 next.

The local library at Sainsbury's didn't have any last time I looked. I was quite looking forward to reading the article

It's a great mag, the only one I will actually regularly buy.

There is also a small article on the 4200 from an owners perspective.

It's good to read sensible, real life articles.

This. Been a long time since I bought car mags. This is a breath of fresh air.

Bit harsh to the publishers that... they gotta make a living like the rest of us...

I think they will be OK... and the requests I've had are from abroad, I've not had many, the publishers won't notice... I've sent it to all that asked... hope it gets through...

Thanks for the heads up. There's an article on the Colt Lancer Turbo and I haven't seen one of those for many years, apart from the one in my garage! I didn't realise they are worth so much these days. I must get it back on the road some day.
