Yes, I did get to the bottom of it. I replaced the entire F1 system. Waited 4 months for the parts but is now as good as new. The accumulator had failed, along with some of the electrovalves. The pump was also showing signs of poor health. Makes sense as all the parts were 15 years old.

Out of curiosity, do you know the part number for this complete F1 kit?

Those long pipes connecting the x pipe and the back boxes :)

I have the Larini x pipe, the long connecting pipes and the valved rears. There is no motorway drone at all and if I close the valves it becomes even quieter. In my car, the drone was caused by the original connecting pipes. The Larini ones eliminated the drone.

Thanks guys, the car does look good but the italian character is catching up to me right now. It is currently under the cover, on axle stands and connected to the ctek, waiting for better days so that I can repair and the niggles. I believe it will be fully operational and once again for sale...

I have a Ctek MXS 5.0 and it works great. And the 4200 has a little tube to connect to the battery.
