Morning All,
4 day week this week, have just offered to leave early if the business wishes to save some money.
Here's hoping I can have a few weeks off!!!
Have a good in,

Morning everyone!
It feels strange being back in the office today having been out all last week. Ah well, I can get some other stuff done and hopefully allow my colleagues to live!
HapPea Monday :)

Morning. Today I will mostly be paying out £26k to The Spaniards for our Viva Espana trip...its great spending other peoples money!

Collected the SM Gazebo yesterday from MLC and Ira's, nice to see you both.

Feeling jaded this morning, stayed up till gone 1am watching Point Break...why do they put all the good stuff on so late and all the sh!te at prime time?

Morning all, office bound for most of the day other than taking the ML to Mercedes for a summer 'Health Check'. Also known as a free look over of your car.
And it gets wash and vacuumed as well.

Morning - my 'chuffed' mode has been shattered by my son. I proudly announced that yesterday I swapped out the front pads for a nice set of 'Yellow Stuff' and he asked if I knew what they're known as in various car club communities..................apparently Ever Been Conned!!!

Morning. Back at work today after nearly 4 weeks of holidays to Canada and Germany. Dropped my Mini off for it's 60k miles service. Perhaps time for a change of daily driver?

Maserati still has a broken windscreen.

It's raining.

Off to Edinburgh this afternoon, probably by motorbike unless they have the Mini ready in time.

I swapped the OEM pads on my 4200 to EBC Yellows and it was massive improvement. I know quite a few on here have done the same and are equally happy.
Tell your son he doesn't know what he's on about! :rofl5:

Compared to competition brakes Yellow stiff are not great so he's right. Green stuff are actually better for track and yellow more suited to fast road but they need lots of heat in them to be at their optimum!

Yellow stuff suit my style and never had any issues with them, except the dust but there you go. Sure for full race you would want something else.

Hey guys...this is a moan

I love cars, but currently its got to the stage where I wish I didn't own any. The past month has been one problem after another and it's wearing me thin. It has also got to the stage where a luxury (i don't use my cars for daily transport, as I live in central london) has become my biggest stress and by far my biggest cost outside of must-haves.

The MX5 has been a nightmare. I know it is an old car, but they have a great rep as being reliable. The power steering sprung a huge leak. Week later the belts snapped and it over heated. Week later caliper started acting up.

This week, the car is for some reason sitting higher on one side than the other, for reasons unknown. Also, it is pulling itself off its anti-roll bar drop links possibly because of the car siting higher.

The Vantage also has a couple of issues, not as bad, touch wood. But of course more expensive.

I know we all have moments when our favourite hobby/passion becomes a bit of an annoying weight on the shoulders. I guess that everyone has been there, i have before certainly with the Masser, and no doubt in a few days (hopefully not weeks) and the bank balance significantly less in the black and more in the red, all will be well. Let's hope

Anyway moan over. Just thought i'd have a moan to people who might actually understand.

Let's see what horrors they find?

New rear wiper required. And a new rear spring. But I'll replace them as a pair.
Front Pads are 80% worn, but I'll get them replaced as its Alex's car so safety first.

Other than that everything tip top.

Morning all, today is Grand Canyon Heli flight, only issue is the boy took a tumble yesterday and damaged his foot, nothing serious but he won't walk on it yesterday, hopefully by later he will be fine.
