Well done Newton, good work! Fwiw, we are in Mannheim this evening, which is not a great city to visit. An old family friend once visited in 1943 but never arrived home. He was however, before his demise, partly responsible for the look of confusion on the hotel receptionists face when I asked for directions to the 'Old Town' as just about everything here post dates 1946! Off into the Alps tomorrow as we are aiming for a night stop on Lake Como which is about 600 km from here.

It's running good buddy. It's going back in two weeks for a check over once I've run it around for a while. He did say it may need glow plugs but he didn't want to spend anymore on it....It does as it really doesn't like cold starting....and at £30 for a set its not expensive...Wonder if I could change them myself. Good news is when she starts all that nasty smoke isn't there and when she goes she pulls really well. Cosmetically still all that to do which I think is around a grand to a Grand and a half depending on how much you want to do but probably a grand would do it to make her presentable......I would probably say she is a car that maybe a wrap would make more sense as you can get them done for around 800/900 these days.

So do I sell.....boys want to keep her...Liz wants to sell her......I'm not sure......ill see how it goes the next two weeks.....a Think she would make a good track project and as the final bill was £3200 it seems a shame to let her go now. The MOT edged up adding £500....Brakes and two tyres needed.

So three options.....Try and sell as an ongoing project......keep........px her against a car for Liz.......
You can do the glow plugs yourself. You just have to be careful as they can have a tendancy to snap in situ. They have probably been sat in extreme heat up and cool down situ for 50 to 80k miles and X number of years untouched.

Morning,

Lovely bright looking day today. M has a driving experience just up the road today. Porsche, Aston, and a Ferrari for a few laps around the old airfield. Should help with the nervousness about driving the Maser which will help with the Italy trip in a few weeks.

Resisting the temptation to make any more changes to the Italy trip. Was thinking of trying to fit a Factory Tour into it but I think I'll leave that for the next time in a couple of years or so.

Have a great day everyone

Morning from sunny Cambridge!

Off to see MLC and Ira later to pick up the SM Gazebo and see if it will fit in a single seater Stradale!

Sadly work will only permit 100 miles per day or 250 per week in your own car at 29p pm...given I will do close to 1000 this week it just isn't worth it... Happily I have a 530m to potter about in this week curtsey of the lovely Hanna at Enterprise Hammersmith.

Morning all.

Off to Mama's and Papas today to melt my credit card on baby stuff.
I'll need to have a lay down afterwards.

What he said, the NW has some amazing roads around the Ribble Valley so take the GS, call in at Bowker or go to Holmes Mill for Supercar Sunday. I am taking mine up there for the next one.

Have fun all...

As for the MAser, i swith on the central locking, it looks like it locks but after a second i unlocks on her own. Tried a reset two times with no luck, so i have to switch by key. Any thoyghts what might be going on?
