Good Morning Everyone,

Sorry to hear that you've gone to France and the 'boulangerie est fermé', like going to Rome and going to a Hard Rock Café . I've just been playing round with landing aids this morning...nothing special...should be a fine day for the pilots...

Have fun everyone...

Off to Birmingham today to collect the Lotus after its first service and snagging.

I managed to get a 1st class train ticket for the 4hour journey for just £35 as an advance ticket! It cost more than that for a day return to London from here! Standard price was £123 for economy class. Never knew what bargains were available on advance tickets!

I'm easily impressed sometimes

Bargain. Beats my £52 to Manchester 1st class on Tuesday. The trip from Ashford to St Pancras is £36 at the best of times. So from Euston to Wilmslow for £16 is a bargain!
You even get fed and watered on Virgin Trains these days in first class.

Morning all. Office for the day today, same old same old. Then off for a meeting near Brands Hatch this evening, so I thought I would take the Maser as she hasn't had a proper run out for a while.
Oh, and have already had a failed visit to B&Q this morning to buy a new letter box as a combination of the postie, wind, and my father-in-laws miserable attempt to fix the damage done by the previous two means we need a new letter box on our door.
And as usual letter boxes come in different sizes than the norm on new houses. So the one I bought will have to go back.
Why would anyone design a letter box to be 7mm longer than everyone else?

I wonder if it's Maserati Letter box?

Good morning!
It looks like a rather good day out there. A meeting for most of the morning with a customer to help them out a bit and then an afternoon to mooch around Paris in the sunshine. The only problem is that the bakeries have all shut for the month to go on holiday. I am in want of patisseries for breakfast (and lunch, and snacks).

Can't believe Pierre Herme is shut in August! Would cost him a fortune in lost trade. Or, if you have time, make your way out to Nanterre Village, ignoring the suburban sprawl as you go (through the back end of La Defence is best) and you will find a couple of small pâtissières open through August. One, can't recall which, have a deux millefeuille with pistachio. A-fu**ing-mazing.

Hope you are all well!

How long has it been since we came back from Le Mans?

The car has been sat in the garage since then. I haven't even washed it yet or actually emptied the boot and this is my first time login into the forum since then as well.

Life has got the better of me.

As a result I am going to sell the Granturismo. So if you know anyone interested in a 2012 GTS MC Shift just under 18k miles, full service history, maserati warranty till Nov / Dec this year let me know.

Thanks

I got taken (took Jeanette) out to dinner tonight at a nice Indian in Chelmsford (just before the Britvic roundabout) very nice with many complimentary drinks and a good chat about much including the upcoming Spanish trip. Early night methinks!

Sorry to hear your selling Hoyin. Lovely car and its never done above 4k rpm either. The new owner will need to break here in.

Good luck with the sale hopefully you will be back in the trident fold again in the future.

Sad news Hoy-in,
Just as well I can't do LE Mans next year !! Lol.
Well, I'm going in tommorrow and putting my notice in, do my 4 weeks then start a new contract back where I was 18 month ago, year initially but looking likely to go through to Oct 2020. It's been a frustrating 6 months and unfortunately all the problems I highlighted which haven't been sorted are bearing fruit.

Morning all. I enjoyed yesterdays thrash out in the Maser so much I've brought her to work again today.
She is filthy though so will need a good clean before next week.

Office for as long as I can take it today then I might pop to the gym. Or go to the pub. Decisions decisions.
