You'd imagine that amphibious vehicles would sorta resist rust a bit better..........

That's not looking too good. I wonder if that's the same guy in the states that Wheeler Dealers bought theirs from when they did one up a while back?

I think these were designed for use in freshwater lakes and calm rivers; I can imagine if one was put in the bayou or coastal environment and not de-salted after it would have a bad attack of steelworm like this example! Add 20-30 years in a barn and it is no surprise at all...
