Spoke with Matt tonite and we are both up for a Trevs xmas awards prize giving ceremony , Miles has very kindly agreed to take this on board and organise it for the evening , so if by any chance you could dig a little deeper into your pockets for a small donation , you never know the quality and quantity of the awards may improve , im sure Miles will mention it in the near future

Right, not long now before the Christmas meet, so time to get this organised..........

The Sports Maserati Annual Forum Awards - affectionately known as the Trev's. (In honour of Trev in Matt's business who, together with Matt, looks after the running of the forum)

The inaugural awards ceremony to take place after the meal during our Christmas meeting.
(Award recipients not attending the Christmas Meeting will have their awards sent to them)

If there was more time, I'd have politely (but insistently) pestered our forum sponsors to sponsor an award by donating a trophy and or gift, however there ain't time so I suggest trawling fleebay for some suitably cheap, trashy, but hopefully in some way appropriate trophies. Any and all ebay aficionado's are welcome to help in the search. I suggest we at least try to get trophies for all the awards. Gifts are also welcomed (thanks Dem that'd be great) but both trophies and gifts might prove too much to organise in the time available and also a bit pricey.

Based on suggestions already given, but trying to get a mixture ranging from downright daft to an honest thank-you in recognition of services rendered on the forum, I suggest the following awards, which will be open to nominations from all forum members (you cannot nominate yourself obviously). Nominations can be public or private to my by PM; it's up to you.

Most (unattainable) woman obsessed forum member.
Most impressive deviation from original post topic.
Forum member who really should know better.

Most consistently valuable advise.
Most consistently valuable research.
Most consistently humorous poster.
Most consistent photographic / video contributor.
Most useful how-to.
Most highly regarded car - Maserati.
Most highly regarded car - non-Maserati.

And the big one..

Sports Maserati Forum member of the year.

There will also be two further awards that aren't open to nomination.

So 13 awards altogether.

So what I need (asap) from you my fellow Sports Maseratisti...

Let me know if you disagree with the range of awards above. I'm really aware that these are just my thoughts and I don't want to force them on you. It's a forum after all.

Let me know if you can help in searching for trophies and if you're able to donate a gift.

YOUR NOMINATIONS

Please just be aware that there isn't a lot of time and I'll need to pull this all together before the 11th, so please give it your thought sooner rather than later.

With thanks and regards to all,

Miles (Emtee)
