Ok, to start with.... It's not big and it's not clever, but it was quite funny.
Driving back from Salisbury this afternoon and I notice in my mirrors, about 3 cars back, something black and sporty. Shortly afterwards it's overtaken the cars separating us and is sat behind me. A black F360... With a silver prancing horse on the bonnet under the usual yellow badge, spot lights mounted under the bumper in the middle, LED daytime running lights stuck to the bumper and a halfords spoiler hanging on the boot.
My immediate thoughts were "that doesn't look quite right"
And then it over took me... Slowly, with a familiar and yet misplaced 4 cylinder "roar" coming from the twin exhausts. Yep, you guessed it, an MR2 replica.
So, a couple of miles down the road and we pull up to a roundabout, turn right and get on the slip road to the A31. He floors it. I floor it.... And pass him before the end of the slip road. Then I take the next exit to Bournemouth and he follows on my bumper. Joining the spur road he flies out to the outside lane and attempts a pass, when he's along side I floor it again and leave him behind.
It's one thing driving something that vaguely resembles a Ferrari, but don't try and drive it like it is one FFS, especially when the family wagon you think you can bully has 350+bhp
