Finally had a new clutch fitted yesterday at Giallo after owning the car for 6 years (only reason I changed it was because the spigot bush sqealed occasionally when pulling away) Amazingly there was still plenty of wear on the clutch plate.....just goes to show that driven properly cambio clutchs DO have a decent life!

Yep, bought it in 2004 at 16,000 miles, now on 31.500 miles. Might even be the original clutch, DEFINATELY a world record!

My car was at 13k and 24k when it had to have its second replacement clutch, both had cover plate finger/tang failure.

Been good for the past 10k, but suppose it will go in the next 2k. Maybe not as I have the uprated dual tang cover plate and the previous owner drove round in Auto all the time, and mine has been in Sport since the day I got it and had the DBW. Downside, I have done 2 track days, so swings and roundabouts.

Not claiming to have long clutch life, just showing that the 12k expected life of the CC clutch is bang on for me.
