Workshop manual 4200GT

Hello I am a new member here. I baught a 4200 GT in September and I am loving it. The reason for my post is to see if anyone would know where I could buy a copy of the workshop manual? I need this as my local indie is doing some work on the car and he was saying if he had a workshop manual it would be helpful. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi R8NAN.......not the same guy who uses this handle from NI?

I know theres a download for the 3200, but not seen one for the 4200.....

We now have 4 guys from the North .....nfm, bigp2 and yourself......last two joined in the last 72 hrs!

I have just realised that I havent taken any photos yet, to busy driving it. Since buying her I have fitted Larini back boxes, and the Maserati emblems on the rear quarter panels. The car is Gray with Bordeaux leather. I will take some pics when I get her back from service and post them up.

I would question firstly that the independent is capable of looking after your car, if he is asking YOU as the customer for a service manual!
If you search Maserati Life forum, there are a couple of downloads available for the 4200 service manual.

Mineis Grigio Alfieri with Bordeaux and I love it. Is yours the same grey? I haven't seen another with my exact trim

Yes the colour is Grigio Alfieri with Bordeaux and I really love the combination.

Welcome R8NAN, good to see another NI member. Frank (Parisien) and I keep threatening to catch up but not yet; it will happen one day. Four is certainly a quorum.

Good luck with the Indy, keen to hear how you get on. I just did the annual with CH and they did discount a tad but still silly money. My next big one (43.5k) will see me head over to the mainland (possibly MP Supercars again in Edinburgh) as for the big service I take great comfort from getting a good indy to do it (more so than CH, as with the indy the owner is the person servicing yourcar).

Hi R8NAN and a warm welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy your 4200 and that it rewards you with many happy Maserati miles, however I have to firmly agree with Mike..... proceed with extreme caution.
