HI guys

The other day i noticed my wipers stopped working on my 2005 gransport, no response from using the stalk,
Checked the Fuse, its ok, The washers work ok with the stalk, and they are on the same fuse relay as wipers.
Ive checked the Wiper motor and it works ok when powering it up.
I've cleaned my aircond vent and drip incase there was any blocked water.

Does this sound like a leaking heater core electrical issue?
I noticed my coolant was down so had to top it up with about 2 cups. been 1 year since it was topped up.
the only other wierd thing that sometimes happens is my drivers window winds all the way down instead of the normal inch when opening the door. If i wind it back up its normal again.

thanks

Found the problem..
Cleaned out the air pollen filter. Was full of leaves and showing signs of water damage on the filter.
Also in blocked the aircond drain under the drivers footwell.
This gets blocked and then water damaged the wiper control unit.

Reminder to everyone clean out your aircond drain yearly.

Also make sure your guard under the wipers below the windshield is fitted correctly and tight.

Well done and congrats on the fix.

Did you have to replace the wiper control unit or just dry it out?

Also are you talking about the unit that is part of the wiper motor or the separate box under the passenger dash that controls the intermittent phase?

Yes Conaero, I followed your Aircon clean out / pollen filter clean instuctions and found signs of water damage and blockage. thanks
Water got into the Intermittent wiper unit which sits under the passenger dash.. photo of part attached.
Also noticed my wiper guard was not on properly so that probably did not help with extra water getting into the aircond Fan.
luckily only my wipers were effected and the part is not expensive.
