Had a great day Saturday at Wings and Wheels. They gave us 4 top speed runs along the Top Gear runway. Managed 137 mph before s******g out. A 458 italia ran out of runway and spun out on the grass. had the Vulcan do one of its last displays, quite awesome.

Were the top speed runs in your own GS?

(and I see you own a DB9 - sooo jealous!)

Yes I'm down in the official program, my son was running the DB9 and he clocked 157 mph

Absolutely cracking day - seeing the Typhoon and the Spitfire flying in tandem was truly a sight to behold. My GTS managed 153 on it's last run, but that was leaving the braking till the last minute.....perhaps a little skid mark on the inside too!!

Hi,

I was there as well your Gransport and Granturismo looked lovely.

It was such a great day. That last pass by the Vulcan my ears will remember for some time! The Typhoon was incredible.

Another of the highlights was seeing a La Ferrari for the first time, then seeing it belt it down the runway.

The Red Arrows display was the best I've seen. Truly scary stuff!

Thanks for the compliment, it would have been nice to speak to you on the day, maybe next time?
The guy who owns the La Ferrari (Paul Bailey) also owns a Mclaren P1 and a Porsche 918 Spyder, plus various Zondas and he has his own racing team, very nice!
