Window Auto Drop

Gents, I posted this on the ML forum, and figured it would not hurt to post here also. Does anyone know how much the window should drop when handle is pulled? Reason I ask is because on mine, the drivers side drops about 1" and passenger's side about 1/2". Will be removing door panels soon and want to adjust them to spec.

Wow. Not sure the Italians would have bothered with a spec for that :)

I think your best bet would be to make them match. As little as possible.

Mine had started to do the same
I believe but not confirmed yet that is an issue with the window management unit next to the fuse box as mine had some water damage last year and since the windows have played up
I am looking to replace the unit as it's also causing an engine drain so will let you know if it solves the issue

My issue is related to the micro switches, I sort of damaged one will fixing my regulator. I am going to replace them and then make the adjustments via the cam that rides the micro switches. Just wanted to get a feel on what that gap should be.

I don't think you damaged the switch. Either it works, or it doesn't. Adjusting is possible in the range of 0,5 inch or 1cm.
Exchanging the microswitch is cheap if you buy aftermarket switch (8€ against 160€ oem) but tricky.
Don't touch it if it works well!

I bent the lever with the roller on it when I was fixing the regulator. I powered up the regulator while I was bench testing my fix and somehow managed to bend the lever. I bent it back as best as I could and figured I would just replace it with a cheap aftermarket one when I remove the door card again to install new speakers and tweeters. Below is the link to my post for the regulator fix.
