Always in the garage. Fortunate enough that I had a double garage, removed the central pillar and then replaced it with one wide door - about 5.5m from what I recall. So easy in and out, with a magic button to open and close it.

Re. Ctek - advisable if its going to stand for some time, but as a daily drive you might find it to be ok (talking GranTurismo's here). That said, I put mine on once in a while e.g. if I'm going away for a week, just because...and in the hope it keeps things in tip top condition.

In late November I put winter tyres on my cars, including the Maserati. They wear a lot slower than summer rubber so the incremental cost is small and they make a big difference if it's cold irrespective of the road surface. My 4200 would not get across the drive on PS2s in snow but putting winter tyres on was a massive change, less MSP flashing on wet roads too.

The charger thing for the GranTurismo is not hard and fast - a lot of runs of under 20 minutes will gradually discharge the battery without you realising it so take a look at your usage and make a decision. The thing is, though, a CTEK is cheap and having one gives piece of mind even if you only use it if you will not drive the car for more than a week.

PS When I park the car wet I leave the handbrake off. It's a trick I learnt with my 987S Boxster which took very badly to applying a handbrake to wet discs.

In the garage for me as well with the car cover on and the trickle charger plugged in. I always press the button to leave the EPB off - heard too many stories about brakes getting stuck on.

Drive during the summer, garage over the winter.

She is going in next weeken for her hibernation.

Just a word of warning, putting a wet car in a garage is a bad thing, lack of airflow means it will rust more than it would if it was outside.

Good advice.

My car still has 408877 flies attached to it after the Modena run but i've not found a dry day to clean it, let it dry then garage it. I'd rather it sat in the garage dry with flies on it than clean but with moisture trapped in door shuts, brakes discs and the like. I will clean it when the sun appears. Which may be some time yet!

Oh, my cars are garaged, I'm lucky enough to have a triple garage. It's more important to me than the house. Kind of.

Driveway here as I have too much junk and two motorcycles in the garages.

I did have a new
workshop built earlier this year with the view to moving most of the junk into the shed and tools etc into the workshop. Plans for the garage too. Rebuild and extend front and side to allow for two cars and the two bikes.... she wants a new kitchen first though!

Garage, handbrake on one click, car not locked so no alarms worries and there are no issues.

Garage on a charger, as it is a weekend car. Just need to seal the concrete floor some time as it generates a lot of dust.

Interesting reading all the different thoughts!

Mine used to be on the drive, I have since moved and it now fits into the garage. Handbrake always off and plugged into the CTEK.

I have plans for an indoor car cover, Santa may help out here!

Garaged religiously, handbrake off, clean and dried, battery conditioner on,
Maserati Indoor soft cover on and have a dehumidifier for the occasional blast too :)

Garaged, but not a daily runner.
Problem with keeping outdoors is the UV damage, it ages a car badly, unless under a cover but that causes other problems.

Wish I had a garage! Parked in a private car park at the rear of the restaurant. I can see her from the bedroom window though!

On the drive with a high quality well fitted bespoke cover if I am not driving her for few days. The gulls around here seemed to particularly target my car and when the weather is bad it makes me feel good to see her under cover. Would rather have a garage though...
