Where do you find the engine number on a 2006 QP?

I need this number so that Eurospares can supply me with the correct replacement ignition coils. I've looked in the engine bay. But, I can't see the plate. I assume that it is located under one of the plastic covers in the bay.

I found this in the passenger door pillar.

I know that the long number is the vin number.Eurospares doesn't source through that. I was hoping that the number by "No. F Spares" would be it. But, this number doesn't seem to equate to the figures given to me by Eurospares. Apparently, the engine number is six figures long

So, over to you.

According to my 2006 QP handbook (pages 14 and 15) the type and engine number is punched on the cylinder block. The information displayed on the vehicle identification plate above refers to the following. Engine M139 means engine type. No. F Spares 26133is the assembly number.

I should also mention that the VIN and engine number is printed on the first page (top left hand corner) of the Maserati the service book that came with the car.

There you go being all sensible and looking at the manual!

Thanks for taking the time to give me a heads up. However, in the end, I decided that rather than buy replacements from Eurospares to fit myself, I should take to HR Owen who'll sort it all out under Warranty.
