'08MY QP V -- Two flying sockets behind OBDii diagnostic port panel.
Could someone have a look -- or is in the know - about where these two plugs go? Or if nowhere and they're just hanging loose please advise?
my '08MY QP5 drivers' side glove box sprung open and would not latch closed. When I got home I removed the top pocket leather cover by its two below hinge bolts and could see that the latch clip appeared slightly bent downwards.
So unscrewed the OBDII diagnostic socket cover (only one of the finger bolts holding in place) Down dropped two flying sockets connected to a single black canvass wrapped loom that I thought I might've pulled out when pulling down the socket cover.
Look as I might, I can't see where the blue two-pin flying socket goes, nor its much smaller black one attached to the same loom. Where do they go? Or are they part of somthing that's not fitted and therefor not socketed anywhere down there?
I can see that they were tied up to another loom in this space at sometime as they're in a loop. I've looked thru all the pics of the QP5's OBDII socket I can find but none give a good whole overall picture of that area ~~ Grateful for any replies ~~ Confused, south Blackheath
