Hi all

Wheel are progressing well - tyres are scrap hence overspray. Going for some slightly larger than standard tyres but many have used them apparently in the US without issue:
Rears - 295/35/20 (bit more sidewall)
Fronts - 255/35/20

And new centre caps to finish off!

I changed my centre caps for metal ones as the finish on the original plastic ones failed. I think I bought QP ones for my 4200. (now sold!)

Interesting tyre size. I thought the rears had to be 30's due to width. Something to do with rolling diameters I think. Maybe does not massively effect things, but I know from my handbook I have 35 fronts and 30 rears. Always followed that when replacing tyres. I ran the same wheels that you have from new until changing last year to profile pic.

much better off putting the wheels into a powder coating place and get them done professionally. I have a place locally here that does them for £50 a wheel and the powder coating is much tougher than paint finish, and lasts longer, just my thoughts on this.

The difference between a 295/30/20 and a 295/35/20 is 4.4% on rolling circumference. This means that the speedo will read 4.4% higher for the same road speed. So keep and eye out for the cameras.

If you are travelling further for every rotation of the wheel, won't you be going faster than indicated on the speedo, and likewise the ODO will under-read too? If I've got my logic correct.
