Victim of their own success and popularity...now maybe seen as "common".....when people want some different....a Porsche now doesn't quite measure up, but keep at it, you will be able to negotiate on your Maser too!

Whilst the rich have gotten richer......those of us who might buy secondhand a few years down the line have effectively gotten poorer.....ergo....prices have to come down or no movement in sales

Photos are everything, with a good detailed description.
Sold my Elise exactly 1 year ago to buy my first Maserati.
I took her to the top of Holme Moss, only a couple of miles away, took these photo's and a few more, listed her on Pistonheads and sold her within 30 minutes, at full asking price, at the top end of the market too.

I would spice up your description a bit, for example:

"classic carrera body in artic silver, with contrasting black leather seats and alcantara headlining" ....true, many are in that awful grey!
"highly desirable rare manual transmission" ....true, most seem to be tiptronic
"practical useable rear seats" ....true
"always garaged" ....you look to have a garage in the pictures.

etc!

It finally went for £8800 today. Not a great deal but that's life!

Now, where's that 4200..?

Excellent, even if a bit less than you wanted....remember.......before you commit to buy....get an indie inspection......no ifs or but!!!!

Nearby!? It says its 324 miles from you in the link! Blimey.

If you're interested, look to speak to the specialist that serviced it, see if you can gleen anything. Also, 2004...isnt that when the facelift came out? This doesnt look like a facelift to me. If you can stretch to one, I beleive they're the ones to go for.

Oh, and get an independant inspection by a specialist. Good luck with the search.

The first facelift cars were Nov 04, this one's not a facelift. A sub 50000 mile facelift car wouldn't be less than £16000 unless it were a wrong 'un. They're usually £19k+ from a reputable place with a good history etc.
