whats the most expensive plate youve bought??

i bought my plate a few years ago 1 dem and paid 15k for it, might seem a lot but have valued it recently at 60k so have done well out of it, i have it on my dads volvo for now, i needed less attention at the time (thats another story) and have recently bought y9 dem which was cheap at 1k just to put something on
it made me ask you what the most youve paid and the most your willing to pay, i found 8oss which is boss at 120k the 1st thing ill do when lottery cheque clears

The one I have my eye on is 1400, my girlf said what if you can't puts it on the car and I said we just put it on a retention certificate and she said how much does that cost and I said dunno about £30??? So she said oh good we'll buy it then thinking it cost 30 quid to buy it on retention. Maybe I shouldn't have explained the difference :/

I like that, dont explain...........or maybe you should.......she might see another one that she wants and think " well its only 30 quid he'll buy it for me " then you're in trouble.
Mine was on my merc, then on retention.
As it said S7OBO R I only had to worry about my son wanting it as he is also Rob, forgot about being married to ROS who now has it on her polo.

the best one i have seen is CAT 1, 250K and also 43 AM which is my initials, that was 65K, most expensive plate i have bought is X31 ADM, 200 quid.

had the plate on the gtv v6 and everywhere i went people stared, they must have thought what a **** with that plate on the car that costs 4k, waiting for the gs or gts then itll go on
