Rather partial to Island malts. Was put on to Scapa a while ago (hope you're well Jim) shortly after they ran an advertisement campaign with the tag line
"Goes down as easily as the German fleet"
Their 16 is smoooooth.

Managed to empty out the annex above the garage with an early start today. All carried downstairs and semi organised in one part of the garage, in the shed and in the van, ready for the staircase to come out on Monday. Frees me up for a btl of wine and a well deserved cigar this evening.
Just the small issue of moving her indoors’s new freezer weighing 350 pounds! tomorrow..

Nice chess set! Sometimes I wish I played. Tried to lean wei-chi once. Didn't work.

Not sure what Mrs C is drinking, but the signs are good.

Yes, for the Bentley

It’s been suggested we move to the man cave. I think Mrs W is drinking something similar to Mrs C....I don’t want a Bentley tho....

Well, each to their own. Having had some pretty crappy news about a couple of very old friends that may be breaking up we've avoided the (non-man)cave (i.e. cinema) in favour of light hearted **** in front of the TV. Independence Day just finished, Deadpool2 on the way.

What the **** are you meant to do when two of your best friends suddenly turn round and say 'Our relationship has been ****** for at least a year' I mean they're not asking for help, but. And it's not like we (any of us) don't have enough other stuff to focus on.

sigh

It’s only a man cave because she doesn’t read these this site.
I’d have a Bentley if I didn’t have a 60 mile round trip commute.
As for your friends, all you can do is support them the best you can.

Wife got me a 12 yr Laphroaig today...unknown territory for me..heading in...
