We did an auction in 2000 with a range of vintages directly from Gaston Hochar who was there promoting the sale and his wines that were relatively unknown back then. Hosted a splendid dinner afterwards with a series of older vintages. Good times.

Gotta love a Monkey, Sam. One of the finest.

I'm quite enjoying a Berry Bros gin that found its way into my latest consignment. Recommended.

Gin always seems expensive to me, yes there’s a fair bit of tax nowadays but they all buy their alcohol from places like this then add some flavours, it’s why it was the crack cocaine of the Georgians.
