Nice Mark!In the 70s my much missed dad was mates with Dick Parry the saxophonist, they would see each other in the bookies in Newmarket, then Dick Parry would go off touring for a few months then they would meet up again, he came back from touring with Mott The Hoople(about 1974) and then said to dad I'm off on tour with Marc Bolan next week, my dad said get my boy his autograph if you can please.
Thanks, never really listened to him before. A bit like acoustic Steve Earle which is no bad thing.Try 'Aberdeen' by Kenny Wayne Shepherd
This is rapidly descending into Red-Neck Thursday.
all this red neck southern talk made me spin some Molly
Great clip, three no longer with us? Brian Downey and Scott Gorham still play. Who's the third?I think this is one of the great OGWT clips, three of them no longer with us unfortunately.
It's Cozy Powell on drums there Allan, think the clip might of been to promote Gary Moore's solo album 'Back On The Streets'Great clip, three no longer with us? Brian Downey and Scott Gorham still play. Who's the third?
I should have paid more attention :/It's Cozy Powell on drums there Allan, think the clip might of been to promote Gary Moore's solo album 'Back On The Streets'
Looks like Don Airey on keyboards who's played with most rock bands at some time.
The only reason I know it is I've watched it loads of times and it's been posted elsewhere on youtube where Gary Moore's talking at the start and mentions Back On The Streets.I should have paid more attention :/
