What was your dyno reading?

I have a hunch that the 4200 engine on average generates more than, rather than less than 400BHP as stock.

The only wave to prove this hunch is for you guys to publish any dyno readings you have.

We can then average it out and see what the 'real' stock output of the 4200 is.

So, please add your contributions below. (mentioning also of course if you have had any intake/exhaust mods which might influence the figure.)

Needless to say, post-remap figures are not applicable.

If I remember correctly, before the remap, mine turned in 446.9, and 470.0 after. Its got Larini sports cats, standard pre silencer, straight through rears and Iridium plugs. It now has a BMC filter and very shortly will get a latest spec DBW. It goes well and sounds fantastic.

I know mine is not really what you're looking for but....
It's meant to come with 440bhp, it was producing 470bhp with no mods.
When I asked the DMS chap about why this might be, he said because of the direct injection system and that they (Maserati) don't want to put Ferrari's nose out of joint by blatantly producing something that can stand toe to toe with one of their more expensive products, the California.
