Maserati Boomerang was design by Giuguaro from Ital Design, for the Geneva Motor Show in 1972.
A pint of Creme de Menthe to Enzo.
First shown as a dummy at the Turin motor show in 1971 but by the following March Geneva motor show it was exhibited again as a fully operational concept powered by a 310hp 4.7L V8. Still in existence and fully road-legal, it's in a private collection. It's the car that inspired the Maserati Khamsim, the Lotus Esprit and it's the car that spawned the now iconic VW Golf Mark 1. One critic quoted something along the lines of...."It looks like it's doing a hundred miles an hour when it's stood still"
An Awesome car and by far the best of the 'wedges'.
