What I have learned on my Friday...

Good idea, Robert.

I have managed to confuse things a little bit. The total kit would be 42 fuses. What I tried to do was list the ratios in which they exist, so that they can be ordered in the right numbers. (I assumed you'd be ordering them in bulk of each value separately)

If one wanted to completely replace all the fuses in the footwell you'd need:

30A 7
20A 2
15A 11
10A 10
7.5A 4
5A 4

Two 'sets' at £7 (or £8) is pretty damned close (you'd be short 1 x 15A and have a spare 30A).

3 sets at £21 (or £24) sounds like the way to go to me. You can replace all the fuses in the footwell, and have a stack of spares. Cost at £24 for three is 0.42 per unit which is a good saving as far as I can tell.

Does that make any more sense? If not, maybe we should have a chat?

Hi C,
Yes I get your drift, I think it's a question of a full replacement kit, or just a back up kit for spares. I suppose I could price up a Full Replacement Kit, and we already have the Spares Kit, what do you think, should we go that way and have 2 options..?? If these are the footwell fuses, what about under the hood..??
I am starting to wonder if it might be better just to offer say 5 of a kind ( 5 x 5A), then everybody can order what they like..??
Cheers

I can work out what a *complete* kit is for everything if that helps.

As far as the footwell kit, you could do. It's two of the ones you've got so far, -1 x 30A and plus 1 x 15A. It really depends on how much time you want to spend sorting and boxing stuff for people :)

As little time as possible mate..!! I was thinking of simply popping them in an envelope and posting..?? I could price up a full footwell kit and offer that as an option with no spares, or just batches of different values..?? I suppose a full replacement kit would be sensible, then keep the old ones as spares..??
