What have you done to your Maserati today?

Have bought a second hand seat so started the long job of cleaning the leather several times before changing the colour (have done car seats before so no problem)
My intention is to replace the seat in the car with the burnt out motor, with this new seat that works.

Still have the problem of getting the old seat out, I think and this is a guess, I may be able to jack the front of the seat up enough so I can get a cutting disc under the side rails and cut the rear bolts.
Its all a bit medieval I know but am at a loss as to an alternative.

Not today but took it to Caffeine and Machine yesterday. There was a black Quattroporte in the car park at the same time as me. Looked nice. Annoying brake issue spoiled the drive back but I can’t think of anything better to do a 200ish mile round trip, on a whim- just to avoid doing some academic work

Drove the Coupe to fetch the party girl, as the Stelvio was dead...windows down, all exhaust rumble. Then...took Courtney out for her first time behind the wheel of the QP just in case the Stelvio dies again. No obvious drain, but I disabled that passive entry setting. Hadn't been an issue for over a year of ownership, but...

Pulled the CD changer to install a LoudLink in the QP. But before I pulled, thought I’d see if any relics were within. Not disappointed - five pristine CDs that probably haven’t seen the light of day in quite some time.

Double tapping this thread as I was able to get back out in the garage this evening to swap out the trunk lock cylinder assembly. Bought new one off eBay that came with its own key. Thought I’d be clever and move my old lock cylinder to the new assembly, but alas… the old cylinder was the problem. Turns out the lock cylinder has two tabs protruding from the end, and my old one had one broken off and gone, the other cracked and falling off. Apparently someone must have realllly tried to force the lock.
At the end of the project, though… new lock cylinder in and now I can manually open the trunk with a key! And everyone with a Maserati knows what panic is involved with not having that capability.

From my (limited) experience, it's quite normal to be the only Maser there
I agree. I popped a thread on the Events page a while ago to see if I could entice any local owners to attend. Would have been good to see a few others but it was still a cracking morning in the sun.
