Got La Contessa some rather nice new summer shoes to slip into at the end of March. I’ve been stalking e bay for a while but am rather pleased with these;

£672 for a brand new set of 4 seemed a right result.
I was the seconds highest bidder for those....well done

Have just purchased some new fronts now, didn't needs the rears but the price was right for the 4 so worth the punt

I’ve a single brand new cup sport 2 rear which I managed to get for £175 that I’m going to move on. If that’s any good for you you’re welcome to it for what I paid.

Hmm reading what you paid then perhaps when i recently bought 4X Y XL Falken Azenis FK520 Performance Road Car Tyre from Demon Tweeks at a cost of £473 delivered
It was not a bad deal. true that was without fitting etc but as i was getting my alloy refurbed, the firm that refurbed them, put them on at no extra cost.

Thanks for the offer.....don't need rear's at the moment, replaced them a couple of years ago, they still have about 7mm on them.
Only replacing the fronts, they're gone a bit hard.....7yrs old. Have gone the Michelin route this time, Rears are still P Zero's

No worries. I also bought these Michelin Pilotsport 4S’s which will be surplus to requirements now. I paid £200 for the pair and would happily sell on for what I paid if of interest.

That's fine thanks, my new ones are being delivered tomorrow.

The 3200 passed MOT with a few minor advisories ... Nothing I didn't know about already as the same things were present last year but not noted, whereas this year the tester noted everything! That's the quality of service you get from your local garage vs the test centre used by the upmarket independent specialist I went to last year, who actually missed a leaking rear shocker! Anyhow, nothing urgent to do but some new front tyres and a service before the summer will put things right ...

Well indeed, good people of this great forum, what have I done to it today? Needs must, so sell it to @soprano, that's what
Lovely chap and fingers crossed to him getting more from it than I got the chance to.
I've really enjoyed having the cars & being on here, loads of helpful people & I've learnt loads.
Life sucks sometimes.

Thought I would do some prep before I tax it and put it back on the road on April 1st. I want to protect the front subframe from getting worse, so off with the front alloys and thought I would remove the arch liners !! Who thought it would be a good idea to use Torx bolts, rusted, and someone had been here before me and mullered most of them. Spent a good hour on one side but they are all out, just 2 left on the near side to remove. Got some Buzzweld CIO and their new Lano oil based protection product coming this week. Might also replace my headlight support brackets as they don't look to clever.

Rear parking sensor to replace after that (have bought a Skoda Superb one), then some new rear tyres.

Finally managed to get out for a blast in some decent weather. Feels like it’s been raining non stop since I got hold of it!

Took mine to Waltham Abbey. Mostly in sport and mostly like an idiot.

I think, if work doesn't totally **** up, an x-pipe and a tune is in order.....

I’m definitely contemplating the x pipe more and more. I think it’ll bring a bit more out of the ghibli
