What do you think of the new Granturismo look ?

Still wearing some camo but looking promising
I understand some UK MD staff caught a peak of one whilst visiting HQ in Italy recently on Grecale business, and they seem pretty excited.
There should be something to see & order later this year with cars being delivered in 2023

Strange how they are dropping all these glances at it before a big launch.

It’s not instantly making me go wow but as always need to see it final and in a normal guise not covered in wanky stickers.

Best bloody sound decent as well

I think this looks like a Granturismo should. I hope for 4 seats as it certainly sold the car to me. I also hope the link with Venturi in Formula E results in a Folgore that blows the drivers sock off. Presumably what happened in the photo.

That has to be fake….Doesn’t look real and more superimposed…Or I hope it is…..The grill isn’t following th family look of the Grecale either which from other spy shots it looked like it did. That grill looks pretty much closer to the first GT and can’t see that being right. I am really looking forward to this car but I hope it moves the game forward more than looking just like the old car…Sure it will….

I think the design team could have made much more of an effort.

When Porsche update the 911, they basically make it look the same, just a bit bigger each time.
What Maserati have done is take the GranTurismo and make a car that looks the same, but slightly smaller.
But arguably the 911 used to be too small, and the GranTurismo too big, so just maybe, they’ve finally both made them about right?

The one thing all the motoring press seem to have agreed with over the years is just how beautiful the design is of the GT. So much like Porsche, if you have a classic design why alter it too much? Update the internals, engine, play around with the chassis etc whilst still paying homage to the original design seems like a good thing to me. It still looks current to me from the shots I've seen of it.

Dealer told me July is the official release with UK cars arriving spring 23. Car looks very similar dimensions to the current GT so rear seats should work.

Looks like a GranTurismo, but with the lights from an MC20. So we’re hardly in for a visual surprise when it is released.
I suspect the back seats will be small though, as will the boot.

You can get decent rear space as per the 32/42/GS in a small package if the boot is not daft.

Let’s hope it looks better when it’s properly released. I really dislike the new lights on this and hate the front end of the Ford Puma Grecale.
