What a clot - I've lost a tiny part....

I stupidly dismantled the F1 gearbox controller, to repaint some damage to the aluminium paint and then lost a tiny brass spacer/washer that is part of the reversing lever (2005 Spyder). It doesn't look as though I can buy this spacer/washer separately but have to buy the whole unit (67604327 or 67604328) for north of £1,000! There are some used ones on eBay for £500 but still crazy just to get a tiny part.

I attach photos - hoping someone's got a bright idea?

I might have one, will have to search the garage. alternatively buy the hill engineering upgraded lever, it doesn't need them.

If you cannot find an exact, you can get one machined quite easily. They will supply raw bar to suit.
