Been lurking for a year and realised I'd never said hello.
Had my 2007 QP for a year now and still smile every time I set off. Used as a daily driver (11,000 miles this year) and hoping to keep her for many years. Fantastic car for the motorway and those rare occasions when an empty B-road beckons. Even quite nimble in town with the Sport button on. So much more exciting than my old XK8 which I had for 8 years.
No major problems (occasional errant error codes disappeared since I had a CTEK for Christmas). I do get the 1-2 second rattle on some cold starts (oil draining down from variators) but it doesn't persist. Is the consensus to ignore it until it carries on for longer or causes problems? Or can anything be done to preempt it getting worse? Has anyone used an Indie to have the check valve fitted?
