My Scottish B-I-L has been taunting England fans throughout the competition saying we're deluded, football is not coming home, England are over rated etc.
Yet as Scotland failed to qualify for the second round and England progressed his postings have been ever present. Now football fans, are not the most politically correct of people, he's now claiming that he's had racist abuse. Mainly around him living in England supporting and English football team, (season ticket holder to Man Citeh, not a glory seeker) but refusing to acknowledge success of the English team.
I pointed out to him that poking a hornet's nest is not the best thing to do and that being jealous of another person's (or team's) success is a poor quality that should be held in check. If England do win tonight, hopefully he'll grow from this and acknowledge that football has come home...cue music.

Is that because we are? We aren’t the best at any ‘proper’ sports, but we are the best at all sports combined.
