Washing your Maser

I also like the 2 bucket method - seems obvious and isn't exactly expensive. My question - what is wrong with a regular chamois for drying? If it is properly clean and your car has been jetted, washed and jetted again what advantage is a silicone blade? Our silicone blade is on duty in the walk-in shower to get the water back into the shower tray

Emmmmm....I've heard of "claying"........but can some one go over the practicalities and science....even........?!

Clay is fantastic. I had my bumper re sprayed and I ended up with overspray over the entire car. I spoke to my local bodyshop who told me to wet the car and rub it with a clay bar. It removed every trace of the overspray. It was so easy, just use water.

Try it, you will be amazed.

have ordered the wax! Thanks guys for the tip.

bought some harley wax off the guy who imports it all to the UK at Auto Italia - he had the De Tomaso with the OUTRAGEOUS shine on it - best turned out car at the event - i'll have to get around to cleaning it now!

Yes the guy I bought it off oon ebay had the De Tomaso as it's in his advert on ebay.....I bought some at a discounted price when he first imported it at £9.99 a pot...bloody bargain.....It's now 1:99 I think but still a bargain especially what the last one I bought was the Autoglym on with less Carnuaba in it at £32.99...

Here as spme pics of the results...not a Maserati though sorry.
