Voiciey did my annual service yesterday and suggested front tyre replacement.

I am keen to hear what the general feeling and recommendations are for a 4200 cambiocorsa.

I have always liked Michelin. Rin the Porsche on Pilot ports N3's all-round. Great tyres! I hear recommendations fro Good Year Eagle Asymetrico's but no experience of them. My GS has Pirelli but I'd be inclined to go for Michelin as first choice - whichever is recommended for the model.

Funnily enough, voicey did my service and told me to put new tyres on the rears...coincuidence? No, mine are very close to the legal limit. I'll change them soon, I tend to go for Dunlops...they're quiet!

No point having quiet tyres on a Maser! If you can hear the tyres your Maser ain't loud enough!!

I run Vredestein Ultrac Vortis - seem to be a good combo of price/performance. Also Giugiaro designed!

On all my 4200's and Spyder I ran Goodyear Eagle F1's, superb tyre and suit the car extremely well. About £100 a corner from the online discounters like https://www.tyreleader.co.uk etc...

Hi Conaero. I used your link for Tyreleader and the Goodyear Eagle F1. However I see they have two types i.e. Asymmetric 2 and Asymmetric 3. Presumbly you mean the Asymetric 3?

I used AS2's but assume the AS3's are better. If not, and they are much cheaper, go for the AS2's, they are fab!

Just had a quick look on the site and the AS2 rates at 4.5/5 and the AS3 at 5/5 and also the AS3's are cheaper so go for them.

Last time I needed tyres for my GS there was only one option available in the UK in the correct size and spec, Michelin. So talk of Pirelli, Goodyear, Vredstein, etc was all moot. My advice is to see what what you can actually get hold of, before then making the decision.
