Tubi back boxes - worth repairing & selling?

I've got a matched pair of Tubi back boxes from my 4200 which need some minor repairs (weld on new bolts). I can get this done, get them polished and refurbished for about £250. Is there a demand for these - is it worth doing prior to selling them? Or just sell them or junk them?

Umm, I just paid £650 for refurbished original spec back boxes from Jaren so it would be a bit depressing (& surprising) to only get £250 for refurbished Tubis....

Check out the “for sale” board...
Tubi were recently (ish) listed there...
Not much interest iirc. Do some research, I might be wrong.
Jason does charge a lot imo....

Have you seen the cheap alternative(s) though? Lol

Shame my guy went out of work with the pandemic he only charged £50/hour and was an ex army master metalsmith.

I would sell it as is and let someone else get what they feel as though is a bargain and they can deal with getting them restored as opposed to pumping more money into them and then waiting and batting off stupid offers.

post some picture so show the required work, probably a bargain for somebody with a TIG welder. (not me, mind). GLWS.

Yes! I’ve got people PMing saying they’re worth nothing, others saying I shouldn’t sell for less than £1,100. Some saying refurb & others not. I shouldn’t have asked!
Decided to refurbish and sell and if no-one wants them off to the recycling they go!
