Solna, can’t be that hard...
I have to admit, they are a gorgeous car, just very.....Italian! After starting with replacing the brake shoes I know have a list of things as long as my arm to do! I’ve got to ask, what was the SL55 like? It’s on my wish list!Hi everyone, I always loved the 3200GT since they arrived. I’m a petrolhead with a flare for all different types of cars, I have owned around 50 cars from Chevrolet Suburban to Mercedes sl55. I currently own a jaguar xj6 1975 and a Chevrolet Avalanche.
I'm trying to bye a green 3200GT here in Sweden. It s on an advert, but the seller don’t answer... a little frustrating saying the least. I really enjoyed this forum and have leareed a lot!
take care out there. Gustaf
Hi, the SL55 was a wonderful car. Really fast on winding roads. To take down the roof and make it a convertible from a solid coupe wa 15 s. But it was not really fun. It was to smoth. Put it in gear, stamp the pedal and woosh you are at 250km. Unfortunately the gearbox in manuel are to slow. That I think you can fix btw. All in all a great super fast car but a little boring.I have to admit, they are a gorgeous car, just very.....Italian! Thanks for the info. Well the 3200 certainly isn’t boring! I think they managed to put one on its roof on the press day when it was released!Hi, the SL55 was a wonderful car.
