Trolley Dollies

Sadly this thread is not about the lovely ladies who serve you GnT on a plane

During the winter, I was thinking of using these to manoeuvre the GT into a tight space.

Has anyone used them and how easy is it to move 2 tones of Italian Metal on them?
And would you keep the car on them for long periods? (Weeks, if not a month or two)

Should be easy to move, and you could keep it on the dolly's indefinitely too.

Very useful indeed and used them lots in dealerships for the very reason you mention Martin.
Just have someone with you when you do it so you don't bump anything.

I’ve got those. I can spin the Vette inside the garage in them. Floor is smoothish though.

Thanks for the replies.

Might pull the pin on purchasing them from SGS unless someone has serious safety reservations about my plan.

The idea is, drive into rough location, mount GT onto Dollies, move into position against wall (with protection obvs). Unmount from dollies on side with access so wind/earthquakes/poltergeist won't move car. Fit battery tender and lock up.

Leave it on the dollies, they’ve got the advantage of being round so you won’t flat spot the tyres.

Good point or axle stands? I have SGS items of those presently.

I have two of those, as you say usefull to tuck car away. Good pieces of kit.
