Sorry for being thick but if there is a tracker on car and you start it and drive the car with the fob with you should you be contacted to say the car has moved, this has happened several times.
I thought they only contacted you if there was no fob present.
Anyone had the same Issue?

There are a couple of different trackers, but I suspect the common factor is if you;re paying the subscription.

If you are paying, and they are contacting *when you have the fob* I'd suggest something is a bit broken...

When I got my car they rang me all of the time. The battery had gone in both fobs. I replaced the battery and it all works now.

On the fob I have there is a button on one side. If you press it a light flashes at the top of the button. If the battery is flat there is no flash.

I have 2 fobs one with me no button on the side but flashing red at a few seconds intervals.
So this one OK?

The other one I have taken with the car to go into storage today don't recall seeing the red flash.

If it is the battery on the one that I took to the storage place how do you get into it? Just prise it open?

Do the batteries not last very long?

Thanks

The flashing red shows the battery is good and the fob should work. The button is a round moulding on the flat side.

I prised the fobs open to change the battery. It was quite easy. Not sure how long the battery lasts. My car was almost 12 months registered when I bought it. Not sure how long the fobs had been active.
