Had the letter through today. £300 for 1 year! Seems an absolute rip off to me. I was expecting it to be around half that price.
Car insurance wont touch it without one. Was wondering if anyone had any luck negotiating a discount for a tracker subscription renewal?
My insurance was more expensive if it was kept in the garage!!When I looked at a tracker, it made my insurance quote go *up*
Go figure.

Amazed you need a tracker. Have you considered dropping the value of the car down to likely retail for it's age (£40k?) as the insurers tend to work on value thresholds and if you forget to drop the value it affects the premium and conditions.
Already done that. Did it through one of the price comparison sites and it automatically gave an estimated value figure which seemed accurate against similar cars for sale on Autotrader. Amazed at the premiums I'm having to pay on this car, never mind the tracker requirement. My previous car was a M3, bought new and it never required a tracker and the premiums were less than half. Crazy considering it was infinitely more stealable, faster and worth more. Maybe insurers are just seeing "New Maserati" and lumping it together with £100k GT and QPs.

It also depends on your postcode.
For my Noble I paid I think £700 and I have a life time subscription on the tracker. I also have to pay extra because it is in a garage! Something to do with all the careless folk breaking their wing mirrors when parking in a garage apparently.
The Masser a lot of companies wouldn't allow me to park it on the street without a tracker because of its value. So I just shopped around till I found one that did. In the end the yearly saving was still cheaper than activating the tracker.
Personally with the Masser if it gets stolen I would rather not have it back as it would have been thrashed. I would rather get my money and get another one.
